The 2011 Annual Meeting will take place in Sardinia, where we will be based in the village of Villanovaforru [1], which is situated in the southern central region of the island.

Practical Information

there are three airports in Sardinia (Alghero in the NW, Olbia in the NE and Cagliari in the SE).

Accommodation: Accommodation and most meals are provided by hotel ‘Funtana Noa’ [2] in Villanovaforru, where we are offered half board for €56.50 per person for single rooms (reduced to €46.50 for a shared room). Villanovaforru is a tiny village in the Marmilla region in south central Sardinia, with a population of about 700 inhabitants.

Program

Thursday 12 May

- Arrival in Olbia (ca 3 pm). Transfer to Villanovaforru, including stop at nuraghe Losa and/or nuraghe S’Uraki

- Traditional Sardinian dinner in hotel Funtana Noa

Friday 13 May

- 9.00-11.00: TN progress reports

- 11.30-13.30: TN business meeting

- 14.00-16.00: lunch

- 16.00-18.00: visit of nuraghe Genna Maria and museum in Villanovaforru

- 20.00: dinner in hotel Funtana Noa

Saturday 14 May. Networks & Hierarchy workshop

- 9.00-13.30: presentations

- 13.30-16.00: lunch

- 16.00-19.00: presentations & discussion

Sunday 15 May

- 9.00: transfer to Cagliari

- 10.00-12.00: visit of National Museum and/or walk through Cagliari

- 12.00: lunch

- 14.00: check-in for return flight to UK
